What we collect

When you book with Osprey Travel Trailer Rental or send a booking request, we ask for what we need to check availability, prepare your rental agreement and run your rental: your name, contact details, home address, party details and trip details. We also keep a record of your bookings, orders and payments.

If you have an account, we keep your sign-in email. If you set a password, we store it only in scrambled form, so nobody at Osprey can read it.

The site's cookies only keep it working: ours keep you signed in and hold the nights you're paying for, Stripe's help protect card payments from fraud, and Google reCAPTCHA's help keep out spam. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.

We do not sell personal information.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

If you choose to save a card, Stripe keeps it securely so you can pay with it next time. You can ask us to remove a saved card at any time.

Who else handles your information

We share information only with service providers that help us run this site, such as payment processing, email delivery, hosting and spam protection, and only for that work. Some of them store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws apply to it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information while you have an account or an ongoing connection with us, and for as long as we need it for our records.

Your choices

You can view and update your details any time in your profile.
